Cheltenham Golf Club

Located in the heart of Melbourne's Sandbelt, next to Victoria and Royal Melbourne Golf Clubs

Cheltenham golf club is located in Victoria's wonderful sandbelt golf region, just 30 minutes from the CBD. A pocket of nature in an urban environment, the golf course is a haven for local birdlife and it's wonderful hills, fairways and greens are enjoyed by all.

Tee off from the 13th (the highest point in the locality) on one of those special days and you can see right over the bay.

The golf course has a 9 hole layout, and on each tee you will find two teeing areas designed to challenge the average golfer, while offering a full morning or afternoon of golfing pleasure on well-kept fairways and undulating greens.

The golf course is surrounded by open space, with Cheltenham Park, Cheltenham Football Ground and Victoria Golf Club as neighbours.

Members of the public are most welcome to play the course and tee times are generally available before or after member's competitions. Just remember, that like most other private golf clubs, a dress code applies on the course and in the clubhouse!

Juniors are welcome at the club, (in fact we're very proud of some of our Juniors who have gone on to "greater things") and we support the development of young people's golf skills.

Memberships

Taking up a club membership is a financially sound choice as it can vastly reduce your cost per game and allow you to play more frequently - without having to pay a green fee each time.

Functions

Cheltenham Golf Club is a great venue for functions and is extensively used by members and the community for birthday parties, wedding receptions, trivia nights and other events.
