Annual General Meeting 2019

Members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting on 25th September.  The quorum required is the presence of a minimum of  16 members in order for the AGM to proceed.  If you can spare an hour of your time, please think about coming along.

Agenda for the AGM
At the meeting, the following positions will be declared vacant:
Vice President
2 x General Committee members
Nominations are now sought for eligible members for these positions.
A member is eligible to be elected or appointed as a committee member if the member
(a) is 18 years or over,and
(b) is entitled to vote at a general meeting, and
(c) is not a paid employee of the club, and
(d) is an ordinary, intermediate, weekday or life member.
A member can nominate themselves or with the member's consent, be nominated by another member.
Nominations will be placed on a noticeboard in the clubhouse, when they are received.
Nominations close at 5.00pm on Wednesday 11th of September.
The Annual Report for 2019 is currently being finalised and will be uploaded to the website for the consideration of members as soon as the Auditors have finished their work and the report is complete.
A member unable to attend the AGM may nominate a proxy to vote on their behalf.  A nomination form is provided above for this purpose.  A member may use any other form that clearly identifies the person appointed as the member's proxy and has been signed by the member.  The form may be given to the General Manager at any time prior to the AGM or at the latest, to the Chairperson at the start of the meeting.

If you require a hard copy for the meeting, please bring one with you.

Members attending the AGM are invited to participate in some light refreshments following the meeting.
