Like all other golf clubs, at Cheltenham we use the Australian Handicapping System, which has been implemented by Golf Australia and handicaps are calculated from your golf scores using:

  • best 8 scores from the last 20 games are used to calculate your handicap
  • an "anchor" is now used to stop handicaps from deviating greatly
  • handicaps are updated immediately on Golflink, and
  • No lapsed handicaps
  • Daily scratch rating
  • Slope
  • Stableford handicap adjustment
  • Handicapping of four-ball scores, and
  • 9-hole games

Our club handicapper is Janet Tyler.
