Like all other golf clubs, at Cheltenham we use the Australian Handicapping System, which has been implemented by Golf Australia and handicaps are calculated from your golf scores using:
- best 8 scores from the last 20 games are used to calculate your handicap
- an "anchor" is now used to stop handicaps from deviating greatly
- handicaps are updated immediately on Golflink, and
- No lapsed handicaps
- Daily scratch rating
- Slope
- Stableford handicap adjustment
- Handicapping of four-ball scores, and
- 9-hole games
Our club handicapper is Janet Tyler.
