Out of Bounds


White posts with black tops and all boundary fences indicate out of bounds (Rule 27-1)

Staked Trees and shrubs

Relief must be taken (Rule 24-2)

Ground under repair (GUR)

Indicated by a painted white line surrounding the area. Relief must be taken.

Paths

Artificially surfaced and gravelled paths are immovable obstructions.

Screens and support poles

On the left hand side of the 5th/14th are in integral part of the course.  All other screens and support poles of non-boundary fences are immovable obstructions.

Garden Beds

All areas that are bordered with garden edging and / or covered in woodchips are G.U.R. This does NOT include the treed area on the RHS of the path of the 5th hole.

Sprinklers and hoses

Cannot be stopped or moved.  Relief may be taken.

Distance measuring devices

A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. However, if during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions such as gradient, wind speed, temperature etc the player is in breach of Rule 14.3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used..

Stones in bunkers

are movable obstructions (rule 24-1)

Steps in Bunkers

Relief may be taken with no penalty. Drop must be taken inside the bunker.

Rakes in Bunkers

To be placed back in the middle of bunkers with the handle pointing back from the direction of play.

Sand Buckets

Sand buckets must be carried at all times and divots made by each player must be filled.

Sprinkler heads near greens

Sprinkler head within 2 club lengths of hole. Relief may be taken (Rule 24-2).
•Sprinkler head must be within 2 club lengths of green
•The ball must be within 2 club lengths of sprinkler
•The sprinkler must be on your intended line of putt
•You must drop the ball and you may clean if you wish.
