A state of disaster was declared  this afternoon, Sunday 2nd August 2020.

Following the televised statement by the Premier, the course will be closed from tonight and all social golf bookings will be cancelled.

Further updates will be placed on the website when we know more details.

All prepaid green fee bookings will be cancelled and on-line payments refunded.

During this period of closure the office will continue to be staffed and the course will continue to be maintained by our course staff.

If you are a local resident seeking a place for exercise and recreation within your 5Km limit - you are welcome to use the course and club environment - all we ask is that you respect the work of our staff and volunteers in maintaining the condition of the course (including the fairways, greens, tees and bunkers) and remember that the course is a designated on-leash area for dog walking. Dogs must be leashed.

For those neighbours who may not be aware - the course is entirely maintained by Cheltenham Golf Club staff and volunteers.  Our members and regular golf players will also be using the course for their exercise during this time and will appreciate your efforts to respect the environment that we work so hard to maintain.  Please don't ride bikes on the greens or let children play in the bunkers.

To all of our golfers - sorry folks -we are as disappointed as you are, but we need to stay safe and follow the government directives.
